Hi!

I'm Chloe, interior stylist and founder of Hisako Design.

I started this business because I believe your home should be a reflection of your story. Collected, intentional, and full of the things you love.

I've always been fascinated by how a space can tell a story. The way a room can evoke emotion, completely change your mood, or spark your imagination. Growing up, I was the person rearranging furniture at midnight and hunting for treasures at antique stores and flea markets. I'm drawn to pieces with history and meaning: the estate-sale lamp, the rug a friend carried home from Morocco, the chair you inherited that you can't let go of. When you layer those with modern pieces and thoughtful styling, your space starts to feel collected rather than decorated.

I work with clients virtually and in person on everything from full room refreshes to sourcing and styling, for both residential and commercial spaces. A lot of the people I work with know they want their space to feel different but don't know where to start, or they're stuck in decision paralysis and just need someone to help them figure it out. That's my favorite part of the work — understanding how someone lives, what they're drawn to, and turning all of that into a design plan they can bring to life.
